شيرها في هذا الاثنين كان اجتماعاً ممتازاً نظمه “مصطفى خرد” وقد كان لقاءً عملياً حماسياً، اتفقت المجموعة من خلاله على أن يجتمعوا في الخميس المقبل لتصميم كرسي من مادة الكرتون العادي كمحاولة لابتكار قطعة من الأثاث الداخلي للكلية. الاجتماع أيضاً تطرق لبرنامج “Softimage” و “Sketchbook pro، و “كيف تقدم مثل ستيف جوبز”، وكذلك تسليط للضوء على اللعبة اللطيفة “World of Goo”.

Thanks to Mustafa Khurd for organizing this week’s Shayirha meeting, which was focused around topics of practical nature such as making structural studies and indoor furniture out of unused cardboard. Also among the discussed topics were “Softimage” and “Sketchbook pro” software, “World of Goo” the game, and how to present like Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple inc.
يوم الاثنين الماضي كان اجتماعاً ناجحاً جداً، نظمه زميلنا “أنمار الرفاعي”، وقد نجح في إدراج عدة موضوعات منوعة من ضمنها “كيف تصمم كمعماري”، و “العمارة اللوغارتمية” و “تقنية الكروما أو الشاشة الزرقاء”.

Last Monday’s super successful meeting, which was coordinated by Anmar Al-Rifaiy, was blessed with the inclusion of a diverse number of topics including “how designers design”, “algorithmic architecture”, and “the chroma key technique”.

آخر لقاءات شيّرها، والتي نظمّها الزميل “ثامر الشهاب” - يعطيه العافية - والتي تمحورت حول فيديو عن “سانتياجو كالترافا” لمحطة TGV للقطارات في ليون، فرنسا. قضينا بحلقة هذا الأسبوع في نقاش حول هذا المبنى وأسلوب كالترافا في التصميم.

Our latest Shayirha meeting, which was coordinated by Thamer Alshehab - bless his soul - was focused around its cental peice which was a video of Santiago Calatrava’s TGV station in Lyon, France. This week’s session was spent discussing the building and examining Calatrava’s design approach in general.
